Lilypad Lacquer nail polishes

Olvasd MAGYARUL                                                                                                                                 PR sample

Today I have swatches of 6 Lilypad Lacquer shades. Sadly this blog post was published too late, some of the shades are not available at the moment, I'm so sorry about that! Hopefully there's gonna be a restock.

GREAT WISDOM
It's a teal toned dark green linear holo.
I've noticed that all 6 polishes had kind of a jelly formula, they were sheer and liquidy. I needed 3-4 coats of this to cover perfectly.

SMITTEN
It's a periwinkle blue base with holo, pale gold and blue shimmer flakies.
I used 3 coats.

BE MY HONEY
It's a bronzy-coppery gold linear holo.
This was the most sheer of them all, I needed 4 coats, but honestly, it still wasn't 100% perfect.

BONSAI
It's a hunter/emerald green with schattered holo.
It covers in 3-4 coats.

MOON SHADOW
It's a mauve-brown base with holo dust, lots of pink-purple-blue shimmer flakies and silver flecks.
This one was the most pigmented, it covers in 2-3 coats.

 ENIGMA
It's a red toned brown base with pink-purple-blue-teal-green shifting shimmer flakies.
This one is my favourite, it's such a unique and exciting shade.
It covers in 3-4 coats.

Hmm...the colors are gorgeous once they build up, but the jelly formula on these is a little bit weird. I'm willing to apply 3-4 coats, but I know a lot of you wouldn't go that far with a nail polish.

Some of the shades are still available at the official Lilypad Lacquer site, and I could find some of the shades at Hypnotic Polish. I know that Color4Nails carry the brand, but non of these shades are available there. Since I couldn't find a stockist list on the official Lilypad site, I'm not sure where else could you possibly buy these shades. If you know another stockist, please tell me in the comments :)

  1. Seriously? So many coats? I could live with max 3, but 4 is definitelly too much!
