Live.Love.Polish | The Classics

Olvasd MAGYARUL                                                                                                                                 PR sample

Live.Love.Polish has launched their own nail polish and nail care line, you probably all know that by now. They provided the whole line for me for review, and I can finally show you everything. There are 11 creme finish nail polishes, a glitter topper, a quick dry topcoat, a matte topcoat, a strenghtening basecoat, a ridge filler and a nail file in their line. Let me tell you a quick secret: they turned out to be excellent!

LBD
1 coater black <3

LINEN
Crisp white that covers in 1-2 coats.

CASMERE
It's a light nude with slight peachy undertone.
Covers in 1-2 coats.

CHAI LATTE
 It's a beige with olive/yellowy indertone.
Covers in 2 coats.

COBBLESTONE
It's a red based light brown.
Covers in 2 coats.

COLD BREW
It's a very deep brown.
Covers in 2 thin coats.

BROWNSTONE
It's a red toned dark brown.
Covers in 2 coats.

MONROE
It's a classic red.
Covers in 2 coats.

WINE BAR
It's a dark berry purple.
Covers in 2 coats.

CHELSEA PIERS
It's a really pale blue.
Covers in 1-2 coats.

TRIBECA
It's a cobalt blue.
Covers in 2 thin coats.

SPARKS WILL FLY
It's a gold-green-blue irredescent glitter topper.
I used it in 1 coat over LBD and Wine Bar.

CRYSTAL NAIL FILE
I use regular and crystal/glass nail files too, and yes, glass nail files are quicker and they are not so damaging, but honestly, I don't really have a strong opinion about any of them, I use them both.

QUICK DRY TOP COAT
I really love this topcoat! It does dries quickly, and there's no shrinking with this, like Seche Vite often shrinks the edges of the nail polish.

VELVET MATTE TOP COAT
You can see this matte topcoat in action above (over Brownstone and Sparks Will Fly), and it's a really nice one! It doesn't dries quickly, so you don't have to rush with the painting, and there won't be any uneven surface with this.

STRENGHTENING BASE COAT
This is the only one that I couldn't really test out. I have gel nails on 6 of my fingers (because I hate the curves of them), and the rest is just strong as hell due to constant oiling, so I just really couldn't see any difference. It has a blue tint to it, so it can help to conceal the yellowy discoloration that you might have on your nails.

    NOURISHING RIDGE FILLER
As I said, I have gel nails on some of my fingers, which I build for myself. I file the surface of them, so they will have pretty deep ridges, which I don't really care about, because they usually will be covered by the end of 3+ coats of nail polish. But now they will have a purpose: I can demonstrate how well the Nourishing Ridge Filler can fill up the ridges.
On the first picture you can see Brownstone (1 coat) without any base coat, and then you can see it with 1 coat of ridge filler. You can clearly see how well it filled my ridges. Of course this is a really radical demonstration, there's no way this deep ridges would appear on natural nails, which just justifies even more that this is a damn good product!

I'm really pleased with everything, these are truly high quality products, and those creme polishes are a dream to work with! My favorite shades are Chelsea Piers, Cashmere and Wine Bar.
The brush is rounded, and the angular cap can be removed, so you can paint with a rounded cap, which is a lot more user friendly. There's 10ml / .33 fl oz in the bottle, which is not a lot to be honest.
All of the polishes are $13, and the nail file is $10.

They are available at Live.Love.Polish.
